KOSCIUSZKO NATIONAL PARK | JOURNAL

I’ve lived in Canberra for 3 years now and every Winter I somehow miss out on going to the snow. This year, I wasn’t letting it happen again.

Lately, life and work have been really full and it honestly doesn’t look like it’ll be slowing down anytime soon.

Whilst I’m so thankful to have the work that I do, it’s so important for me to take some time out of the studio to recharge and see this beautiful place I call home.

So, last week a friend and I took an impromptu day trip to the snow! We packed the car, coffee, her sweet 4 month old boy and set off for Kosciuszko National Park. Naturally, I took my camera...

Our first stop was Thredbo! After a little tour around the village, we took the gondola up to Merritts Mountain where we had lunch. We watched in awe as people skied and snowboarded, explored around and then piled back in the car as we headed for Dead Horse Gap.

This is where I could have stayed for hours! The atmosphere, views and nature around was was simply breathtaking. I can’t wait to go back, walk some of the tracks and of course, take more photos.

In the meantime, scroll through the photos below to see what we got up to!
