Ellen is a born and bred local Darwinite, with big dreams and aspirations like anyone else. She comes from a long line of hard workers and isn't afraid to put in the hard yards to achieve what’s best in life for not only herself, but for her friends and family.
Ellen manages a large family-run business (Aussie Snacks), which has been operating in the Territory for over 30 years, and loves nothing more than the sense of accomplishment and making others happy.
Ellen manages the entirety of the business from behind the scenes, to all executive matters. She makes the wheels turn and ensures the business is running smoothly and efficiently so that her parents (Wendy and Albert) can stay focused in preparing delicious meals, daily.
What are you focusing on for the rest of 2020/early 2021?
Currently, a lot of effort is being made to really showcase Aussie Snacks and what we offer. We want people to be just as excited about our business as what we are, by really educating them on the quality and affordability of food that’s available right on their very own doorstep.
Our food is made with nothing but love, heart and soul, and we just want to share that with everyone.
One thing you have learnt from this year?
Never let the small things get to you, be appreciative of what you have right in front of you.
2020 has been a ridiculously tough year, however if we all stick together, we can get through anything. The only way to move, is forward.
