JOURNAL | BILLABONG COTTAGE

For the first weekend of September my husband and I packed up the car, grabbed our dogs and headed down the Coast for a little getaway. We stayed in a gorgeous Airbnb called ‘The Billabong Cottage’ at Termeil and it was the perfect mix of country, coast and cosy. Staying for two nights allowed us the chance to rest, take the days slow, explore Termeil state forest, Ulladulla beach and the walking track surrounding this gorgeous property.

Taking photos of our adventures and setting aside time for a quick portrait session has become a bit of a tradition. Since we found out about our girl Nova, I’ve wanted to update our photos. Just like me, she is happiest in nature and exploring new places. This trip was the perfect mix of what we all love, from fish and chips at the beach, rain on the roof, waking up to bird songs and enjoying coffee on the verandah surrounded by nature.

These moments all felt so small yet so special and I really wanted to capture these memories forever.
