BUSINESS TOOLKIT: EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND DISCOUNTS!
You aren’t your equipment but tools enable you to successfully run your business, create and share your work with both your current clients and potential clients.
Below is a list of everything currently in my business toolkit, physical, digital and online.
Desktop programs
Adobe Creative Cloud: a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, along with a set of mobile applications and also some optional cloud services. My main uses are InDesign for all graphic design work, Lightroom for photo editing, Bridge to review and cull photos, Photoshop for intricate spot removal, retouching, etc. and finally Illustrator for vector based graphic design, logos, graphics, lettering etc.
Narrative: build beautiful blogs in your own unique style. Your blogs blend seamlessly into your website, load lightning-fast and look great on every device.
Authy: a free mobile / desktop app for two factor authentication, as well as security partner and SMS delivery service of many websites that want to make two-factor authentication work better for their users.
Skype: make video chat and voice calls between computers, tablets, mobile devices.
Dropbox: a file hosting service that offers cloud storage, file synchronisation, personal cloud, and client software.
Spotify: access to millions of songs, hours of listening time and motivation to get through the workday!
Sonos: my favourite speaker to play the millions of songs previously mentioned!
